ABOUT ME

I am a college student from the United States but have been studying in Barcelona, Spain since January. Since my arrival in Europe (my first time) I have been traveling as much as I can. I love to explore new cities and absorb new cultures. Whether I am just having a discussion with friends or going out on the town, I always find a way to have fun! Life is too short to do otherwise.

PHILOSOPHY

St. Augustine once said, "The world is a book. Those who do not travel read only a page." I am a new traveler. Before I moved to Barcelona to study, I had only been to two other countries outside of the USA--China and Korea. Being in Europe has given me the opportunity to travel very easily to many other countries and it has been an amazing experience. I am determined to travel the world and just learn about other people and places. I have learned over these past few months that traveling is not just about seeing all of the great sights. It's about learning and experiencing new cultures. I don't want to live life having read only one page of the book that is this world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a Korean-American and can (and love to) share my culture with people. Growing up in America as a Korean is certainly a very unique experience and one that is difficult, especially with trying to keep in touch with your roots. I could talk to people for hours about the differences in our cultures and love to learn as well as teach.
