Hi my name is Oscar!
I am from Poland but currently I'm living in Los Altos, CA.

I came to The United States for my cultural exchange for two years. Recently I graduated vocational school and I got a degree of Technician of economy, so... basically I could already start working for companies or in accountant office.

But I took my gap year to get deeper into myself, my mind to figure out what I really wanna do in my life. Either psychology or PR, or maybe something completely different.
And I took the brake to travel as much as I can and see new places, meet new people, new cultures, stories.

I'm open-minded, trustworthy, easy-going and hard-working young man with optimistic approach to life. I don't like to focus on negative emotions, I prefer keep thinking positive, and my subconsciousness will help me with leaving wealth, happy and being loved.

Actually I'm taking psychology classes at Foothill College and I'm also doing quite a lot of volunteer work as a graphic designer. Designing flyers, brochures, layouts etc.

Actually my plan after coming back to Europe is to move to Sweden, more precisely to Stockholm. I fell in love with that city and the people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because it's the best possibility to meet new people, know their culture, spend a day or two with them. And the locals can show you city way better than guides. They can show you really unique places.

And let's be honest you pay nothing and you get so much! Like I mentioned above - You are getting to know new people, culture, visiting unique places.

Interests

I was dancing for 3 years in a group almost every style - e.g. hip-hop, jazz, krumping, popping, locking, wacking.
I really enjoy nature - hiking, national parks, chilling out in parks, having picnics.
I also like cities, walking around, grabbing cup of coffee and I adore architecture.

I learned a little how to play a guitar and piano on my own, using only YouTube videos. It was pretty much the same with learning English.

I love ambient music, indie, indie rock, rock, pop. Actually I don't mind any type of music. I'm super open to new experiences.
