I'm a contemplative type of a person who enjoys experiencing and learning new things, meeting interesting people, good conversations, good music and exploring the wonders of the world.

Interests

Recently, my main professional interest has been finding out correlations between brain neural functioning and states of consciousness and I'm currently working on my PhD on this subject. I'm an anesthesiology resident, but I find myself continually contemplating on things related to mental well-being, happiness, motivation, metaphysics, ethics and moral actions.

For little over one year, I've been passionate about rock climbing . It seems to offer good mixture of both mental and physical challenge. Same applies to freediving, which is my most recent interest. Meditation has been part of my life for several years and recently I've moved from occasional random yoga practices to more intentional ashtanga practice.
