Overview
About Me
I'm 29 years old and working for an advisory council with the goal to foster an energy and sustainability transition. I love biking, cities and biking in cities.
My background is in political science, I studied here in Berlin. Before that, I lived in DC, Heidelberg, Munich and Paris.
More broadly speaking, I'm interested in politics, narratives and other social constructs, so almost everything that has to do with human interaction in a social context. I really like taking photos and observing nature as well as society. I also have a thing for technology and its effects on behaviour as well as society in general.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling to me is not visiting and checking off all sights on a list, but rather delving into the everyday life in different contexts, trying to understand what unites us and what makes each of us unite. Furthermore, there's nothing more interesting than exchanging views and opinions with somebody very different from oneself. Couchsurfing offers a wonderful opportunity for that. I've hosted and was hosted several times - only incredible experiences so far, one better than the other :).
Interests
Politics, society, technology (in fact, I'm a geek), renewables, foreign cultures and countries, music, most important of all, people, and generally I like all kinds of sweets, trees, birds, gardens (nature and environment in general).
