About Me

My facebook profile: https://www.facebook.com/ostap.korolyak
You can also review some photos, which I have uploaded into my Couchsurfing profile, but it is better to meet and have face to face talking.
I try to get the most out of life, because you never know when it will be over. That’s why I’m happy when my day is lived to the fullest. I love meeting new people, because every new person opens a new world. I like to explore these new worlds and share my own life experiences. I believe that one day spent traveling equals a week home. That’s why I try to travel as much as possible. Also, I like to organise and go to parties, so if you like to have fun, with me you will never be sad. I play guitar and harmonica. If you know a few Ukrainian songs we’ll make a great duo=)) I love to laugh, so if you have a sense of humor, we’ll be laughing during my whole visit =))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to be a part of the community community which obsessed by desire to freedom and friendship. I want to meet all kind of feelings, improve language skills, visit secret local places, which are known by couchsurfers only and get inspiration from lifestyles of different cultures all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can listening almost all styles of music, but I am filling elated with rock and reggae=))

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don’t know what, of the things I’ve done, could be called amazing. But I think that nude bathing under the moon would make the list. Also, I’ve made plenty of romantic gestures. For example, performing guitar serenades under the balcony for my sweetheart. Also, on Valentine’s Day, I made a big heart from the snow and painted it red. I covered all the trees on both sides of the stairs leading to the dorms with paper hearts which said “I love you”. There were more than 2 thousand hearts. The rest I’ll tell during our meeting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning, especially foreign languages. Ah, if only there were a magic USB flash-drive, which I could plug into my brain to speak all the world’s languages o=))! Before traveling in a new country I try to learn at least a few of the most popular phrases. As I’ve already said, I’m really happy to meet new people, so I gladly tell my hosts stories and legends of my country and hometown. I know a lot of interesting ones, because I often host guests in my native city Lviv.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m good company, whether in a noisy pub or sitting at home playing guitar the whole night. I can ignite the dance floor or dance viennese waltz in a tail-coat (I’m actually a trained folk dancer =)). I can tell interesting stories or keep silent as a fish, if necessary. In any case, whatever I do, I’ll do my best to be the most positive, happy and life-loving guest you ever had, as well as (hopefully) a new friend
