Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an exchange student in Uruguay. I'm spending a month in Brazil after my exams with no plans and little money. So I have a rare opportunity to meet Brazilian people.

Music, Movies, and Books

No Reptiles —one of my favorite songs from my colorful playlists.

Everything Everywhere All at Once —I can't stop talking about how good this movie is. The action, humor, and cinematography are all top notch. And I've never seen a movie that can make me feel so many emotions for 20 minutes straight.

Siddhartha —It's the closest thing I have to the Bible. German writer Herman Hesse describes Eastern philosophy through Western eyes. It always reminds me of the pitfalls a person can fall into on their way to inner peace. I refer to it often.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have many stories and it is hard to choose one, but I was a math teacher in elementary school. I was barely 20 at the time.
I taught grades 4, 7 and 9. Those 5 months were some of the most interesting in my life.
Being barely older than the students, I was able to relate well to the children, I quickly became a favorite of many. Leaving there was one of the most emotional things I had to do

If someone needs me to teach them math, I'm pretty good at it.

It would be nice if someone taught me how to dance.
