Overview
About Me
I am very aware that my life is some sort of journey of growth and learning. All the time.
And laughter and play and spontaneity are incredibly important to me. As is belonging and respect.
I am totally open and honest, I'm an extroverted introvert, I'm sensitive, intelligent, loyal, have good boundaries.
I seem to like different things than other people a lot of the time. I enjoy the wackiness of life and people. I like to observe others and different lifestyles. I'm searching. So I am open to trying new things. I want to learn from others and most people fascinate me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To experience the areas I travel in a much more multi-dimensional way and to meet other people with hugely different backgrounds than myself. To share new experiences with people I would never be able to otherwise.
Interests
Music. Art. Creativity. Free-form dancing. Food. Cooking. People. Belonging. Love. Hugs. Fun. Beauty. Nature.
Opening up my mind and my comfort level. Experiencing the absurdities of life. Being vulnerable. Self growth.
Social justice gets me going too. I want to talk and learn more about what is and has been happening.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love live music.
I love music I can dance to, sing to, emote to. Which means something with a beat and lyrics. Nothing very pop. And folky tunes too. And African. This list can go on and on.
I'm usually reading fiction. While traveling it becomes all about finding one book at a time at a hostel or used bookstore. So it will often be something I wouldn't have chosen on my own. But in general I am a fan of good writing and contemporary stories.
I like podcasts too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in a flamboyant, free-to-be-your-most-wacky-self intentional community is the most amazing thing I have ever done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to see the art scene in different countries. The up and coming musicians, the theatre crowd, graffiti or murals. Anything. I want to watch it do it's thing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Conversation, music, honesty, space, stories, friendship, fun, spontaneity, laughter.
Information about what it's like to live in an intentional community and to live in Hawaii, healthy eating and baking recipes, my Mbira (instrument from Zimbabwe), Tarot cards, Ecstatic Dance.
