About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting lost in foreign lands~

ABOUT ME

I'm all about design and craftsmanship of any kind. I design board games in my spare time and it's the best kind of therapy for me!

Learned to embrace the crowds in cities because I get lost most of the time.

Getting to know good food is almost a religious experience for me.

PHILOSOPHY

"For the things that are and the things that will be."

Cherish the present and hope for the best; to look forward always, with one's head in the clouds but feet firmly on the ground.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Probably the only way I'll ever go overseas is by being dragged by the collar by friends, but it's a worthwhile experience every time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still new to the couch surfing experience.

Recently surfed between Hong Kong and Guangzhou within a span of 5 days; definitely the best time I've spent making new friends and discovering new food and culture.

Interests

Discovering new food, definitely!

Finding out traditional and modern games that people play and/or participate in. Getting to share in them is a plus!

Glancing at the books people surround themselves with. They tell a lot about the interesting upbringing of one's life in a nutshell.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books on speculative fiction, philosophy and ethics tickle my fancy the most. Most treasured possession is 'Contact' by Carl Sagan.

Films like District 9, Contact, Inception & Scott Pilgrim are highly ranked on my list. Looking forward to catching Interstellar and Edge of Tomorrow.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Running around in the deep Japanese winter after dark with nothing but my shorts on.

I don't recommend doing that again.

Teach, Learn, Share

Been designing board and card games since my pre-teens. Any other game designers out there keen to share in your expertise?
