ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Marina and my name means ''from the sea'' which is almost true cause I grew up in a small town on beautiful Adriatic cost. At the moment I live and work in Rome as a graphic designer. Sadly I really rarely can host now but still up to for hanging out. I am curious literally about everything so you can't bore me to death :P I enjoy learning new things and listening to interesting or just ordinary stories. Everybody can teach you something. Also, I am really passionate about learning foreign languages as much as I can so feel free to teach me. I'll do my best to be a good host and exchange experience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host if I can. Like travelling and therefore meeting new people via Couch Surfing. I feel so happy when people start surfing because I've introduced the concept to them :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Excellent experience,I have met so much interesting, smart and fun people, who enjoy travelling as much as I do. Everybody is so open minded and very interested in talking about the country I'm from as much as I enjoy listening about theirs. Hope to make even more friends around the world.
I guess the best part is when you are lucky to meet again your host or guest somewhere around the world :)

I love Latin-american authors and music. One of my favorite books is 100 years of solitude written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and pretty much everything of him, also like Jose Saramago, Bukowski, Pascal Mercier, Isabel Allende... I read Kipling atm. I have to mention some books; Brave New World, Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy, the Alchemist... Some random movies I like, that come to my mind; La vita e bella, Amelie, Grand Budapest Hotel, The city of God, American Beauty, 12 angry men, Entre les murs, Sedam i po...Btw I'm a sworn Whovian ;) and an undercover trekkie. Music, my daily inspiration. Currently listening to Mars Argo (check it if you don't know it yet :P). Gogol Bordello <3 Mando Diao, Norah Jones, Jorge Ben, Joe Cocker, RHCP, Nick Cave.... I could go on and on so better to stop now... :D
