About Me

Hey, I'm Tiago! I'm a 26-year-old who quickly gets interested in things and only discovered traveling three years ago. I'm a very laid-back person, content with almost anything, and rarely in a bad mood. So far, I've only visited Portugal (my parents' homeland), Norway, and Sweden. There's still so much more to explore and more food to try.

At the moment, I don’t have a couch in the living room because I’ll be buying a new one soon. However, if you can’t find anything else and don’t mind sleeping on a camping mat or, if you're lucky, on a mattress on the floor, feel free to make a request anyway.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

🚲Bikepacking from 🇳🇴Norway to 🇸🇪Sweden:

One of my most intense trips... I met so many people and made some great connections. This might even lead to a trip to Switzerland for me next year. I was invited to a spontaneous rave by a Berghain Resident DJ, got to spend a night on an organic farm where I was woken up by a peacock, learned pigeon commands from a pigeon breeder, and stayed with a Couchsurfer. Not to mention the beautiful landscapes I cycled through, where I often got to camp out in the open.

❄️Surviving the Cold: My First Hiking Adventure

Another memorable experience was my first hiking trip. At -7 degrees Celsius, without professional equipment, a good friend and I repeatedly pushed our limits over several days and turned ourselves into survivors. In hindsight, everything was quite risky and unplanned, but that’s exactly what made the trip so special and unforgettable.

Next time, though, I’d get waterproof shoes, a better sleeping bag, and maybe a GPS device 😂
