About Me
It is so hard to describe myself. I am a very international person as I lived in Germany and Korea, where I had a chance of meeting many different people and, at the same time, I had the possibility to discover myself and what things I like and what not.
I like so many things: meeting interesting people, learning and teaching languages, traveling, discovering new places, new cultures, hitch-hiking. When I lived in Germany and Korea I enjoyed hiking a lot.
I love watching basketball, football. Sports, somehow, became a part of my life. So I can discuss nearly anything about sports.
I love my country, I'm a patriot and I try to show how nice Lithuania is to foreign people.
I am known to be a big optimist, despite the situation that is taking place all around me. We just have to believe that everything has a happy ending. Or if it is not good, it is not the end yet.
Recently, I also began believing karma - you will get what you spread to the world. So I try to keep negative things away and to spread beautiful thoughts and words.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly I meet travelers from all around the world. Either while traveling or here, in Vilnius. I love my city and helping tourists and travelers to discover the best parts of it and to experience the Lithuanian way of living. I do go to the weekly meetings of CS sometimes and I highly enjoy them - that is an awesome place to meet a lot of new people, that might even become good friends.
When I have opportunity, I do host people as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have already couchsurfed in many European countries, South Korea. And I have had only positive experiences.
I have also showed my town to travelers.
Interests
I am pretty tall and I am the biggest basketball fan I have ever met! Do I love basketball because I am tall? I don't think so! I can gladly spread my love for basketball ♡

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: "Forrest Gump", "Inglorious bastards", "Green mile", "Shawshenks Redemption", "Prestige" "The Notebook", "Seven Pounds", "5oo days of Summer", "Fight Club", "Breakfast at Tiffanys".
Series: "Friends", "The Game of Thrones", "The Big Band Theory", "Prison Break".
Music: I don't have a particular artist or a band to be my favourite one. I like rock music, sometimes pop. I love Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Nickelback. I can listen to anything (nearly), it just depends on the mood.
I love reading books, especially when I have some free time (a good example is while travelling by bus or train) and good books. I loved reading "Fight Club", "Breakfast at Tiffanys", "The Great Gatsby", "On the Road", Books by Elif Shafak, Khaled Hosseini, E.M. Remarque, J. Fitzgerald, J. Orwell.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The best experience ever - ERASMUS semester in Germany and exchange semester in Seoul, South Korea. Life during these semesters was so different - you meet so many people, both the ones for half a year and the ones for life.
I have done the Bungee Jump in Korea above a lake. I thought I did not scream, guys said I did.
Have hiked the highest mountain of South Korea Hallasan (1950 m) in my slippers.
Teach, Learn, Share
Recently, I found out that I am interested in Eastern Culture, the way they think, especially Japanese culture, their traditions, language, which by the way, is not so difficult as I firstly thought.
I would like to share experience of hitch-hiking, looking for funny stories from travels, to find out more about different cultures, traditions.
