ABOUT ME

After graduating I left the UK on a one way ticket to New Zealand. More than two years later have no plans to return, but it's time to move on. The next step is Montreal, but I plan on taking my time getting there.

After a detour in Tahiti I arrived LA, popped down to Mexico and made my way up the West coast in the most entertaining/beautiful/interesting way I could find. This obviously took much longer than expected so I took a little break in Vancouver before heading east.

I then, in persuit of my long distance (couchsurfing) lover, got on my bicycle and made my way to Toronto and spent an amazing winter there.

Missing Europe, I took a freighter across the ocean and made my way through France on my bicycle.

For the last few years I've been installed in a beautiful corner of southern France in the foothills of the mountains with the chickens and the beautiful people.

Música, películas y libros

Currently very excited by the classic American novel to accompany this trip. We've ticked the Kerouac/Hunter Thompson box, embraced the Steinbeck and Salinger romance (in that miserable sense) and now desperately open for gritty dramatic tales.

If only there was more time to read in the middle of seeing the country itself.

Highlights from the number 4 bus in LA last Saturday night include: the toothless, homeless bible preacher ('fuck you fuck you, Jesus loves you and all your children'), the crippled old lady terrified of cell phones, the ex porn star with the supposedly 'cute face and big dick'... Nevermind the bus driver ('Get off the bus!!')

This is just a bus ride.
