I'm a couchsurfer. Openminded, helpful, always up for new adventures, and love to learn about other cultures and people. Besides that I love sports, cooking, reading books and may other things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love couchsurfing because no matter where in the in the world we grew up, we all share the couchsurfing spirit. I'm happy to open my home to anyone that shares this spirit and is interested in other cultures, building friendships and experiencing new things. At the moment I can only offer a couch in Basel, not in Zurich.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my time in Rome I have attendend many couchsurfing meetings and foud great friends over this network. I had very much fun hosting other as well as couchsurfing in Russia, Austria and Italy.

Ok, one of my greatest couchsurfing experiences: I traveled to Irkutsk (Sibiria, Russia) without a plan and looked for people to meet on CS. About 10 cousurfers replied immediately and we met the same evening. With one of them I'm in touch even now, many years later. Between us are many hours of travel and we don't know if we can ever manage to meet again but the couchsurfing spirit connect us despite all that.

I can show you that Switzerland is much more than mountains, chocolate, cheese, watches and banks.

For the learning part, there is a lot that I'm interested in. Fist of all I want to experience what life outside Switzerland is like. It would be nice if you could tell me something about the history and actual politic situation of your country. But I also like traveling to see the beautiful places there are in the world.
