CURRENT MISSION
drawing stuff on stuff, helping people, making things
ABOUT ME
I practice: choosing your own adventure, dancing with the abandon I feel when alone, picking up trash and playing with it, collecting rubber bands, adopting books and posters from the street, labeling things with chalk, frantically reaching for paper and pencils to draw and write, day dreaming about living on a ranch, swimming, biking, talking about music, wandering streets at night, mischief making.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I'm in the Northwest I can take folks passing through Oregon on adventures.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met and kicked it with many CouchSurfers and I think that the majority of us that are really into it are the most amazing people with great stories. Keep trying. You know what I mean. Let's make it work.
Interests
I can teach: Fly fishing, espresso everything, how to chop wood then build a fire, informal art, stencil making, house painting, foot massage, crepe making, a few songs on the Ukulele, knot tying, printmaking, climbing things, exploring caves, how to play a mouth harp and creative thinking.

Music, Movies, and Books
Comic books and short stories. Too much music to ever digest, though I'll never have my fill. There's some lyrics in a Japanese Motors song that goes "Too punk to be hippie/too hippie to be punk". I like creative movies I don't understand.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learning Club is an idea my friend Hailey came up with. You want to learn something? Then research it and prepare a lesson plan, call up your friends or anyone interested and teach others about subject. Similar to Free School. Or this:

Free education between curious folks. I heard that in Cuba some of the most well spoken and literate working class were the cigar rollers. It was a common practice to have designated amplified readers go through newspapers, novels and poetry books aloud so workers could focus on rolling fine cigars. I wish our world was more like this.
I like hearing people's stories. What they've learned and what's important to them. Even if I don't agree with it I think it's important for people to be heard. How often do you feel listened to? I think that is what I can offer to the world around me. A pair of ears that are hungry for story sounding vibrations.
