ABOUT ME

I feel quite uncomfortable with writing about myself. I don't want to appear pessimistic, but I've never enjoyed showing off. I am the type of person that will try as much as I can to avoid conflict, as long as it is about forcing myself to understand and not conform. Hopefully my references tell more about me.

PHILOSOPHY

What is relevant for this couchsurfing project is that I believe that sharing what you "possess" with others always have a positive outcome.

I guess I can call myself antifascist.

So far I've been using couchsurfing for surfing, right now I'm also hosting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been on adventurous trip around Germany, mainly staying with couchsurfers. I've also used couchsurfing on some trips in Poland and France. I don't regret any of my couchsurfing experiences.

HOSTING

Please let me know in your request why you decided to ask me. It is perfectly fine if you're simply looking for a place to stay for a night and it doesn't make any difference for you who the host will be (I've done it in the past).

Interests

I do climbing and take a pleasure in learning French. I go to cinemas regularly, yet rarely watch anything at home, where I would rather lounge on the armchair with a lengthy novel and a good tea.
I prefer mountains to the sea.
I like wine and the talks that should accompany it.

Flaubert, Sebald, Kafka, Hemingway... There are definitely others, not necessarily novelists.
I am a dilettante when it comes to music, which means that I listen to whatever attracts me and I do not necessarily dedicate my time to follow it in an way. Yyet there are some long lasting affections: I adore Krautrock scene, I'm repeatedly returning to Brian Eno, Bach, Alice Coltrane, Steve Roach, Rail Band, Earth, Matt Elliott or Kim Fowley.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being born is probably the most amazing thing in my Life until now, but hopefully I've done some other "amazing" things, that I'm not aware at the moment.

I can teach you how to play tennis or take you bouldering with me.

I enjoy cooking especially when I'm not cooking only for myself.
I'm afraid I don't have many practical skills!
