ABOUT ME

Hi there!! We are Martin, Carol, Kelsey( lives elsewhere now ) and Josh. We are so happy to be a part of the couch surfing world and have had nothing but positive experiences. We are happy to open our home when we can and show you some good Canadian hospitality. We have had different exchange students over the years and always enjoy learning about different cultures. We love to travel and enjoy learning about the places and people we meet. Our daughter Kelsey had her first experience couch surfing when she traveled through Europe and was very blessed by those who took her in and showed her the true spirit of the couch surfing community. Carol and I also got to see that when David who Kelsey couch surfed with in Rome became our tour guide when we had the opportunity to go for a visit.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We see couch surfing as a wonderful opportunity to network with people from other countries and share life experiences. It is great when you have an opportunity to share with others because you can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We started our couchsurfing experience when our daughter Kelsey and her best friend Paula traveled through Europe together. The girls were well taken care of by those they met and shared time with. Because they had such a great experience we opened our home and are so happy to report that the people who have stayed and shared their lives with us have left an imprint on our family that we will fondly remember for years to come.

-Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010
-Travelled through Europe for 6 weeks with our family
