ABOUT ME

I like begin in nature, hiking. Sports, tennis, frisbee, long distance skating. I like food & cooking, contact improvisation, Ecstatic Dance. I play a bit of piano. Do qigong& tai chi, meditation. Bit of a solver too, I like to fix things that should work! A bit of a loner by nature maybe, but I can also be fun company ;)

If I eat by myself, I try to focus on high quality foods like fish, eggs, nuts, vegetables, meat, fruit, with little grains/sugar or processed stuff. I'm used to cooking vegan & vegetarian meals too sometimes, and will eat everything when I'm hungry ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I like Marie Kondo's style: only keep things (and people, and jobs, and..) in your life that make you happy. Find out what makes you happy and go for that. The stuff you have, the people around you, are for the one you want to become, not for the person you were.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Meeting people I would never meet otherwise, travelling to places and learn from locals about those places :) Interesting to talk about cultural differences to broaden eachothers perspective on the world. Everything seems to relative after a good talk!

Interessen

- Minimalism: what makes me happy or is absolutely necessary, so I can kick out the rest which would hold me back anyhow
- I like (not too complicated) boardgames, chess, WordFeud/Scrabble, Risk & much more, although I don't play it as often as I would like with friends :)
- Dancing (contact impro, modern dance, some acrobatics, Ecstatic Dance)
- Playing my piano
- Doing qigong/tai chi/meditation almost every day
- Walking/hiking in nature
- I'm in for lots of sports in general (tennis, skating, soccer, running etc)
- Food & health, cooking new things, trying out new fresh fish from the market.. sometimes I'm great with that ;)
- Computerstuff, well, that's the old me: working on websites, graphical design, computer repairing etc.

Books: mostly fantasy, everything by Terry Pratchett, well, lots 'n lots of stuff I can't remember all :) I read quite a lot.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I did a dance perfomance in front of 1000 people, that was amazing and quite scary! Or hike on a heavy 2km climb up for 6 hours, and then run back down in 2 hours, just to be back in time for dinner..
