Overview
About Me
I’m a software engineer with a strong sports background, originally from Algeria and currently living in Istanbul for my MBA. I’m passionate about traveling, discovering new places, meeting people, and having deep or random conversations. I enjoy spontaneous plans, love music and dancing, and always try to bring good vibes wherever I go.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet inspiring people, share real experiences, and see places through the eyes of locals. I believe meaningful travel is not just about the place, but the people you meet. Couchsurfing brings those spontaneous, unforgettable moments to life.
Interests
Sports have always been part of my life — I used to swim and play football competitively. These days, I still enjoy staying active, especially with swimming or a quick match. I read books to grow and reflect, and I write poetry when emotions or moments need a voice. I love chess for its strategy, music for its vibe, and traveling for its soul.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all kinds of music — from soft and relaxing to upbeat and danceable. I love movies that make you feel something or open your mind. I’m also a book lover, always up for a new read, especially anything that inspires or challenges. Writing poetry is something I enjoy from time to time — it helps me express what’s hard to say.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling solo to a place I knew nothing about, ending up making friends over random conversations, dancing with strangers who felt like old friends, and writing a poem about it all by the end of the night — that’s the kind of adventure I live for.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some coding or chess tricks, a few Arabic or French words, or how to enjoy a party with style. I’d love to share poetry or books that inspired me. I’m always curious to learn about different cultures, stories, and anything creative or meaningful others want to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Friendly company, open conversations, cultural exchange, laughter, good music, a bit of dancing, maybe a poem or two, and of course — respect and appreciation. I can also share insights about Algeria, Istanbul, software, or just join you for a great chat over coffee or tea.
