ABOUT ME

Grad School Graduate, back in Austin, Texas after travelling for the first half of 2010. I've been a Social Worker for about 5 years, working in affordable housing in Austin for a local non-profit. Life is pretty good. I don't see enough live music, but i try. I have lived in Austin, TX for 13 years, but I'm originally from the Boston area. I have a goofy little cross-eyed bulldog named Lilly. I do not own a car. Bikes all the way.
We are getting ready (my girlfriend Maggie and I) to travel around South America in the second half of 2016 to volunteer and learn Spanish.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a handful of people in Austin, TX from all over, which made me want to join up. I surfed across the Republic of Georgia and Turkey in the summer of 2010 and had nothing but great experiences.

I woke up in my hostel one morning in Cappadoccia, Turkey to a strange sound, walked outside at sunrise and saw over 40 hot-air balloons floating over the surreal landscape. one of the highlights of my life.
