About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My main objective this year is to travel far from everything I've visited by now. Learn something new, especially new languages, traditions and - naturally - new people. Widen my spiritual life by discovering other beliefs and rituals.
ABOUT ME
Easy-going, often-laughing. It's easy for me to avoid conflicts, as I never try to create problems from nothing. I'm quite peaceful and calm, sometimes a little bit too talkative and smiling so much my cheek muscles hurt - but that's not bad, right? :)
On everyday basis, I'm living with my husband in small apartment in Warsaw. We prefer to stay at home together, working a lot on current projects and making up new ones. But there are times when we split up for a week, two or five and I start another journey, coming back happier with another accomplished plans and beautiful memories. That's my lifestyle - usually "normal", stable and maybe a little bit boring, changing into a crazy carousel every time I hit the road. And I love it!
I was born in the small town in Poland and throughout my childhood I've never said I wanted to be a signer or actress, choosing "golfist professionaly, sciencist hobbisticaly" career. Unfortunately, my childhood dreams never came true, as I spent most of my time drawing and playing computer games instead of training with putter. That's how I ended up making games and drawing concept arts/illustrations as my main job.
With a little time left for anything, I fell in love with tattooing two years ago and after trying out on my friends and myself, I decided to learn something from my masters as a modest apprentice. Right now I'm learning techniques on fake skin under command of one of the best tattoists in my country and who knows, maybe this will be my main job in the nearest future.
Oh, so yeah - I have tattoos, but if this is a concern, they are not hard to hide.
When it comes to music - I can play electic, bass and classic guitar, especially in blues manner. I was raised on blues music and this crush has never faded. I love blues, classical jazz, british rock, american surf, shoegaze and trip-hop, but I'm musically open. I have a minor allergy for Rush or Jean Michel Jarre-like electronica, tough. :)
I love food and I would love to try out cuisine from all around the world! Unfortunately, my cooking skills (especially cooking Polish traditional meals) are quite low, so if anyone would want me to make pierogi or bigos, they would probably quickly turn into spaghetti.
If you need to know my psychological type, I am a typical ENTP - The Originator type. You will find the full decription online, and to be honest, I took this test few times during last 10 years and it always had the same result. Enneagram defines me as 8 in 7, but I'm sceptical about this one. :)
PHILOSOPHY
Live your life to its fullest, never hurt anyone and share love, compassion and empathy everywhere. Life is a road for me - we need to avoid stagnation and move, move, move, always searching, never finding.
Let me never be complete!
I strongly believe that our spiritual life is one of the most intimate, individual things we have and so it cannot be described by doctrines. My personal beliefs (e.g. life after death or morality) are connected with buddhism, but I prefer to keep them to myself, unless asked. For me, respect for other beliefs is crucial and I would never say a bad word either about christianism, judaism or pastafarianism, and when I'm surrounded with people connected with one religion/belief, I share their rules and rituals to show it.
On the other hand, I'm highly intolerant for aggresion, racist behaviour and brutal attempts to converse other people to one's beliefs.
One of my main mottos is the famous beatnik quote, "I have nothing else to offer anybody except my own confusion" by J. Kerouac.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy cinema in general with Tarantino and Lynch as my favorite directors, but I have the same fun watching cliche romance and another copy of a copy of a kung-fu movie. The simple activity of grabbing a popcorn bag, diet coke (let's TRY to be healthy!) and gathering in cinema with friends is my typical weekend plan.
My favorite book is "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac. I highly enjoy reading beatniks (Kerouac, Burroughs, Ginsberg, Kesey), Chuck Palahniuk and Hunter S. Thompson. I love fantasy, growing up as Tolkien fan with joining favorites such as Game of Thrones, The Witcher saga and zombie books by Max Brooks. I've never given up on classics, from Shakespeare, through Goethe, to Russian writers - Bulhakov, Nabokov and Dostoyewsky. If you want to discover the beautiful world of European novels, I'm here to lead!
Music - I've written a lot before about this topic, but to sum up you can check my last.fm account (last.fm/user/outstarwalker) for my favs. I would be really glad if people around me pick songs that are not made by Rush. I can't really say why I hate them so much, it's irrational and funny, but they give me real headache.
