ABOUT ME

I am Jeremiah LongBear, but this account is generally used for my entire band, Oversat.

I'm a musican and television producer. I have been playing in touring bands for about 10 years. I'm a fan of Star Trek, and good times! I enjoy travel, and I'm looking forward to meeting local city guides on Couch Surf. I love to learn the story behind different cities. I produce music in different genres, lately a lot of EDM, hip-hop, and indie-surf.

King Doug - Dougie is a DJ and producer, he is the nicest guy I know and a very talented artist. He loves to cook, so if we are hosted you might expect a great meal.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that the world is full of people waiting to connect. I never sit alone in a crowded room. I'd rather meet a new friend. There is nothing like coming to a new town and knowing that you have a friend and guide.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am using couch surf for personal travel, and travel with my band. We are extremely interested in meeting interesting people and growing a network of trusted friends so we can feel at home in any city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As an independent band, we have met so many people and stayed with some couch hosts. Some of our favorite hosts have been in Las Vegas, The Grand Canyon, and Atlanta. We also like to attend CS meet-ups in cities as we travel. So many interesting people, and a great way to learn about the local culture.

Interests

We love to cook, to play music, and to share stories of our travels. We play music across the country with our band Oversat. We love to jam with good folks, or just talk about the world and nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our band was the face of a bike safety campaign called "Keep Your Helmet On." We starred in a nationally televised PSA. We made a music video for the song with the Brain Injury Association.

Teach, Learn, Share

We love technology!! As an early adopter, I love to teach others how to use and make the most out of our technological world. I also love to discuss the Constitution of the United States. Freedom is what makes the U.S. of A. so beautiful.
