Overview
About Me
Aloha to you all,
My name is Ovi (this is short from Ovidiu), I'm from Tîrgu-Mureș, Romania, and I'm currently a first year student at Universitatea Babeș-Bolyai from Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
I consider myself to be a very easygoing person. I like meeting and getting to know new people because I enjoy it, but also because I think that's it's a great way to develop myself by getting to discovering new types of people with personalities different from mine.
Also I am generally a talkative guy, and I enjoy talking about almost anything. From movies to music, from literature to history, from religion to philosophy, you name it!
Last, but least, I enjoy so much to be a guide, so if you're looking for somebody to take you around town and tell you everything about everything there is to visit, I'm your guy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like I said, I want to meet new, interesting people, and I think that Couchsurfing gives me a great opportunity to do just that.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: rock, alternative, classical, indie and variations;
Movies: drama, biographical, fine comedy;
Books: I can't say that I like a genre more than another, because I haven't read yet enough to develop certain preferences. Some books I enjoyed are: "Père Goriot" by Balzac; "Look Who's Back" by Timur Vermes; "The Chronicles of Narnia" by C. S. Lewis, "Anne Frank's Diary", etc. I'm currently reading a very interesting book about the capital of Romania, Bucharest. It's just so fascinating to find out new things about this city that's right at the border of Western and Oriental cultures.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, I wouldn't say that's something amazing, but I'm known to be a volunteering freak and lover. I volunteered in the last couple of years in a number of NGOs (charity, social, community and cultural), projects and events (Blaj aLive Festival, Jazz in the Park International Festival Cluj-Napoca, The Color Run, NexT IFF Bucharest, etc.). Also, I have participated in two projects funded by the EU through the Erasmus+ Project, in Italy and The Netherlands.
