The first thing to know about me is I love meeting new people. Getting to know someone and hear all their stories is such a great experience and it helps you to grow as a person. I have always managed to meet new people through music, sport and academia and I am hoping to do some more with Couchsurfing.

In my free time I enjoy singing, climbing and running, and almost always with other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get to know a place I visit, not just travel through. To speak the local language, experience the culture and gain a new perspective on life. Most importantly I love meeting new people, and this is the reason I am in Couchsurfing.

Interests

I have grown up spending lots of time in the outdoors, and right now I enjoying hiking, running and climbing. I have been singing and playing the piano for most of my life, and this is one of the main activities that I always do, come rain or shine.

I really enjoy learning about different cultures and meeting people from all over the world, something I have had the chance to do in London a lot. I have been learning Spanish on and off for 8 years now, and have really enjoyed learning it at university recently.

I like reading about history and historical fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking a mountain in the Pyrenees over 2700m. The whole experience from the physical challenge to the views was incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook and share stories over a good meal, and I am happy to help cook or share some of my recipes with you. I also would love to learn more about the cooking where you are from, and try some local drinks as well.

I am always happy to share my interests you might be interested in, from maths to music!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to help cook/shop, and help around the house. I don't shy away from chores and always clean up after myself.
