I'm an undergraduate living in the United States studying Mathematics and Chemical Engineering. Although a lot of people think it's kind of strange, I think Math is actually pretty amazing and cool.

Honestly, travelling is just cheaper if you have some kind of free accommodation. If my host is willing to show me around a little bit so I have an idea of the area and culture, well hey, even better. In that same vein, I think most people have something interesting to contribute, whether that be ideas or a new perspective, and I love hearing those.

For right now, I'm planning my first trip outside of the United States (Europe here I come!), and this seems like a pretty great resource.

I'm a big fan of food- I eventually want to try different foods across the world and hopefully in some Michelin Star restaurants! Probably because of that, I really like cooking.

I play video games pretty frequently, read a lot of fiction, and I also doodle when bored.

My favorite hobby is probably napping; nothing like sleeping in the warm glow of the sun. That said, I swim pretty frequently, and I'm picking up running and rock climbing. Cooking is my zen.

Musica, film e libri

I'm a fan of ska, rock, some pop-punk, and a lot of indie/alternative stuff. When I'm working I like to zone out to electronic music (trance). A couple of my favorite artists right now are Streetlight Manifesto, Bon Iver, Modest Mouse, and Portugal the Man. You can't go wrong with Disney though.

I read a lot of fantasy and science fiction; I'll always recommend Joe Abercrombie's "The First Law," almost anything by Brandon Sanderson, "Ender's Game" by Orson Scott Card, and a lot of Asimov's short stories. Another favorite of mine is "The Things They Carried" by Tim O'Brien.

For movies, I've liked "Django Unchained", "Spirited Away", "Good Will Hunting" and others.

I had the chance to go parasailing and cliff diving in Hawaii this past winter. Both of which were more scary than fun at the time because of my fear of heights.

I got to help organize and run "Earth Week" at my University, which focused on educating the campus community.

Ah, I also donated my hair after growing it out for about 2 years, which, well, I'm proud of.

I mean, if you're interested in learning about Game Theory, combinatorics, or fluid flow in chemical processes, I'm your man ;D. I mean, I am just a student, but I can try, haha.

If for some reason you have a french horn lying around, well, I haven't played in two years, but I might be able to produce something that isn't terrible.
