THINGS THAT MIGHT MATTER TO YOU:

1) We live with two children: a 2 year old named Violet, and a baby named Leo. So although not morning people we are early to bed and early to rise
2) We do not have a TV
3) We have a good sized couch, as well as a spare room with twin-sized inflatable mattress
4) We have a cat who can be a bit noisy
5) We have spare blankets and extra pillows
6) Our place is usually a bit messy
7) We're fairly "straight edge", not so much by intention but just because that's the way we are. For instance, we very rarely drink, and aren't very interested in drugs either.
8) We don't drink coffee or have a coffee machine.
9) We mean it when we say (in our description below) we'd be happy to share a meal with you

And now for a real description:

Owen has degrees in sociology and cultural anthropology, and more recently studied Chinuk Wawa for several years. Sarah has a degree in teacher education and recently completed a masters in special education. Owen looks after Violet during the day and is involved in social and environmental justice activism with Deep Green Resistance. Sarah is working as a teacher at Oregon Virtual Academy.

We're both introverts (INFP & INTJ, if you believe in these things), and our cat can be suspicious of strangers, but we'd be happy to have you stay with us and share a home-cooked meal with you as well.(If you have any kind of dietary restrictions, we'd be happy to adjust one of our meals so you can still take us up on our home-cooked meal offer, even if that means not cooking it for a raw diet. So, let us know if you're a vegetarian, vegan, on a 'paleo' or raw food diet, have an allergy, or whatever.)
