Currently doing a master’s degree in Global Affairs at the University of Toronto.

I was born and raised in the southern city of Nanchang, Jiangxi province,the revolutionary base where Mao Zedong started his odyssey of founding a new republic. Before moving to Toronto, I worked in China as a journalist for seven years.

Personality wise, I would say I am friendly, polite and empathetic. I curious and am eager to learn more about the world. I enjoy good conversations about politics, international relations and cultural differences.

- I discovered my ability of playing the piano by ear when I was five.
- I won the championship of our school's singing competition.
- Told I was the first Chinese to spot a wrongly written Chinese character at the 911 memorial museum in New York.
