ABOUT ME

I'm currently studying Spanish at Complutense in Madrid. I' hoping to study outside of the country for grad school, or at the very least teach English or Spanish outside of the US for a couple of years. I'm both an Irish and US citizen, so I would like a summer job somewhere in Europe.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm agnostic, but I don't like to push people to believe in anything. I think everyone should evaluate their own belief in god/religion separately so that they can truly own their own belief. I love to talk, especially over a beer. I am open to all views, even if I can be a butthead at times. I think humans are generally presumptuous beings, myself included, and that everyone should take a step back to examine ourselves. That said, I like to joke a lot which obscures my own beliefs quite a bit. But a good laugh doesn't always hurt.

Haven't actually yet, just looking to start really. And I'm hoping to have a couch open in Milwaukee come August.

I like comics (Zot!, DC stuff, and pretty much anything that I've heard good things about), reading, music, movies (sci-fi), languages (English and Spanish, hoping to study linguistics), talking, beer, generally being clean and COMEDY.

Shows-Doctor Who, Mr. Show, Kids in the Hall, Upright Citizens Brigade, Spaced.

Books-I loved Vonnegut in my teens so we can talk about him a lot. But also Philip K. Dick and Asimov. If you know anything about comics, we could talk for hours.

Music-Fluctuates quite a bit, but here are some favorites: Fugazi, Pixies, Animal Collective, Deerhoof, Flaming Lips, Beastie Boys, Minute Men, and a bunch of others.

Been to Ireland a whole bunch of times (a lot of my family lives there). Living in Spain now, hoping to travel and meet people.
