About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Planning trip to Europe (again)

ABOUT ME

Very patient, diplomatic, easy-going, neat, kind of tidy, little bit chatty, curious and definitely cat-person who I am. I like to travel and I want to go South America! One day it is going to happen!

By the way, I really love my study field which is psychology. I can discuss everything about psychology.

And I am a huge animal lover. If there is a cat or dog, I can't keep myself from petting them.

Something like this :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in humanity. Yeah, of course sounds cliche but whatever I'm an existentialist.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually, many of my friends are using CS, then I decided that I can use it also. While I do some travelling it is nice to meet new people around the world. And sharing experiences are very important.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We hosted some people and I surfed and I met wonderful people. CS in amazing!

Interests

Taking analog photographs.
My grandpa gave me some old cameras. One is Zenit-E but it doesn't work. I really tried hard to make it work but nothing happened. Then I have also Lomo-Lubitel. Taking photos with Lubitel is like giving a birth but I love it so much. It is my first camera. First and great! And I like also Fisheye. I bought Fisheye No. 2 four or five months ago. And it is really cute. Just cute and it is funny. Then sometimes I use my boyfriend's camera. It is also Zenit. And it is better than my Zenit. My brother gave me a Canon, it is really great camera but it is not working right now. He said that it is broken but I took to the some repairman and he said that it is okay, it should work but it didn't. Yeah that's all about analog photography.

Reading massively.
I am really a bookworm. I like Romain Gary, he is the best for me. Murakami of course. His way of telling story is just great. I read also Turkish literature as usual. But French existentialism is my area of interest.

Learning what i study.
I study psychology and I love my field because it is so alive and in social psychology you can see living examples. They have their own terms and it is like a joke. That's why i like psychology.

Travelling around.
I don't travel that much but when I do I enjoy the trip. I saw a lot of places in Turkey especially the coastal side. I am an Izmir lover. While I am in Europe, I want to see everywhere especially Spain.

Music, Movies, and Books

As I said before I love to read about French existentialism and Murakami books.

I listen every kind of music but the quality is important. Now I listen only female vocals. For example, Agnes Obel, Ane Brun, Adele, Oh Land, Sia and so on.

Not quite a movie person but yeah, I watch somehow. My favourite ones are Reprise (from Norway) and Midnight in Paris.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in another country I guess.

Teach, Learn, Share

Speaking another language is definitely about sharing experience and I would like to learn anything because knowledge is knowledge and I need it. I like to learn anything.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russian Federation

Countries I’ve Lived In
