ABOUT ME

I grew up on a farm in a country town in Queensland, Australia - although country life is definately not for me. Traveling to Europe has always been something in the back of my mind that I really wanted to do but got a bit caught up in uni, a job, house etc. Last year that dull thought suddenly jumped out and slapped me on the forehead. Before I had time to chicken out I was at a travel agent booking a ticket and with one final hug of my dogs I was on a plane headed for London. Have spent almost a year in London - working, saving, seeing a little bit here and there. About to embark on a 3+ month adventure and looking forward to every second of it!

Interests

Seeing the world is top of the list at the moment.
Have trained for about 6 years in Zen Do Kai martial arts.
Football - Rugby League, Aussie Rules, Rugby Union - in that order.
Spending time with my dogs, Nev and Bev, and my 8 nieces and nephews.
Australian beaches - man how I miss em!

Music, Movies, and Books

Open to pretty much any kind of music except pop. Mostly alternative though.
Can't go past romantic comedys for movies and books but again anything with an interesting storyline. Not so good with scary stuff but will watch it hidden behind a pillow!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dawn service on Anzac Day at Gallipoli was probably one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
On a personal level - getting my black belt was pretty amazing.
