About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Although I have just reactivated my profile, and haven't done much on CS before as well, the concept is not new to me: opening your house to someone. I had many people from different cultures staying (also long term) at my place, through an international organization I worked for, AIESEC, and also I had two amazing host families during my time abroad in the US and in Brazil.
For me, there are two other main reasons for it, namely; culture and insider knowledge.
Culture, because I am fascinated by it, no matter which one, different customs, food, traditions, gestures, jokes and CS is the best way to get to know these and also gain insider knowledge while traveling.
