ABOUT ME

I've been a vegetarian for about 11 years. (I hate that this ended up being the first thing I have on "about me" though) I've been living in Czech Republic for about 6 years now but I still can't speak the freaking language like I should. :/I don't think I could ever live without sun. I feel deeply unhappy during winter. AND I am highly allergic to sun. <3 Murphy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Other than attending to some meetings and gatherings, I haven't had an official CS experience yet but I've hosted lots of people (both friends and acquaintances)

Personal all time favorite is The Nightmare Before Christmas (although I came to realize that Tim Burton is getting lamer as he moves deeper in the 3d hole and I dislike Henry Selick -a lot)Darren Aronofsky, Michael Haneke, Terry Gilliam, Wes Anderson, Jan Svankmajer, Judd Apatow, Emir Kusturica are some of my favorite directors (man, it's probably one of the hardest things for a former film student: to name their favorite films and/or directors)I deeply hate Nuri Bilge Ceylan and Andrei Tarkovsky. Sorry.I have a love-hate relationship (with loads of jealousy involved, of course) with Neil Gaiman. Doughlas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Oliver Sacks, Franz Kafka, Boris Vian, Gabriel Garcia Marquez are some of my favorites (I'm always feeling somewhat guilty whenever I have to name 'my favorite x'. I know that I'm forgetting someone or something that's actually really important for me. oh well)Beatles, Uz Jsme Doma, Zen, Franz Ferdinand, Kesmeseker, Buyuk Ev Ablukada, The Cure, Devotchka, Emir Kusturica & The No Smoking Orchestra, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Fastball, Pearl Jam, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived living in Istanbul for 5 years. It seems pretty amazing now.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to make a puppet or miniature foods as well as cool jewelry and other small household items with upcycled materials.

I'm eager to learn as many things as I can, so bring it on! ;)
