ABOUT ME

Becca and I are living the life in Cairo, Egypt! I'm an assistant principal at an international school, Becca's leading medical trips! We love to hang out with friends in the cool Cairo evenings and take weekend trips to the sea or desert. Wherever we go, we enjoy meeting new people and having unique experiences! Our latest adventure is our kiddos, Benjamin and Jayne. They keep life interesting in our concrete jungle.

Our home is comfortable and located in the city. We are happy to share our space and knowledge of Cairo with you. We moved here in August 2014, so while we're not natives, we can give you a lot of recommendations. In the evenings or on weekends we can hang out but we both work during the weekdays (Sunday-Thursday) Also, we are usually traveling during the summer and the weeks after Christmas so we won't be able to host then.

HOW WE PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love to host when we can and surf when we're traveling! Now that we have a little guy, surfing (and hosting) is a bit harder. We still try to participate as much as possible! Just know that we have a little one and that makes things a bit more challenging.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've stayed with some amazing people around the world and hosted some really nice surfers as well. One of my top experiences was being hosted in Thailand by fellow surfer, Ekk. I had an incredible week with him and his room mates in Chiangmai doing jungle zip lines, river cruises, scooter rides, waterfalls, and of course Thai massages!

We can share our card playing skills, our cooking skills (mainly Becca's), Egyptian trinkets, cuddles with our son, Ben, and share our stories from living life abroad.
