hey there! i'm özgür güney :-) i'm originally from Mersin, Turkey but lived in a couple of cities in my home country. now i've been living in Hamburg, Germany since late August, 2022. i love theatre, singing and dancing, languages, learning about cultures, and i love animals. i would say i'm pretty open-minded and friendly. also, i'm trans and queer, so i would love to connect with other queer people as well!! :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

until april 2022, i had been never abroad and hadn't traveled much other than having to move cities in Turkey. then, i had the chance to do an erasmus exchange semester in Konstanz, Germany. during my semester, my interest in traveling grew more! i traveled to a couple of cities in Germany, then i traveled to Paris, Prague and Amsterdam. and fell in love with traveling even more! there's a lot to discover and i would love it if our paths crossed through couchsurfing :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i was in the production of a theater play, called 'Wendy ve Peter Pan'. the whole process has been so fruitful for me in so many ways. i feel proud and honored to have been a part of it ^^
