About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Accelerate the energy transition and allow citizens to reach energy autonomy.

ABOUT ME

I'm currently pursuing a master's in management and sustainability in Montreal. There are so many ways we can reduce our impact on the environment and I'd like to help communities and companies to do so.

PHILOSOPHY

The wind blows in the sails of those who know where they're going.

Be bold. Be brave. Believe. Be Intrepid.

ART

I'm really into story-telling. I'm always curious to learn how people tell their stories in a compelling way. For that reason, I'm really into photography and filmmaking.

COOKING

I love to grill!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I encourage my friends to travel and keep them open minded about travellers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the past years I've hosted many times. Sometime through CS but sometimes just because my friends would post it on other apps. I had awesome experiences in San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Denver, and my own place, Montréal! I just came back from a trip in the Maritimes and had a great time with my host in PEI, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick! Two months later I went to Windsor to work at the Fina World Swimming Championship and had another great couchsurfing experience.

Interests

I'm really into photography and filmmaking right now. These are quite complementary actually. I first learned on a film camera, then got a digital camera so I could also make videos. My goal is to document great projects that are being led by inspiring people. My hopes are that these documentaries inspire others to act as well.

Also, lately I've been into hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books

rock, jazz, classic (ya), the nice beach-like sound music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, it's not that amazing, but I did do a 250km bike trip to Sherbrooke with a spare tire-air chamber but no air-pump.. Luckily I didn't get a flat tire.

I also did a 6 weeks surf trip in California based on Couchsurfing! Loved it! Best time ever!

I did see a huge cow bigger than my car once.

I toured Canada with a one-man-musical. Great country, by the way. Have you ever thought about visiting? ;-)

I traveled for the first time with friends a couple of weeks ago. We went to the Maritimes. There is only one word to describe our trip: complete.

Got a van with my girlfriend (at the time) and did a 6 weeks trips in the Maritimes.

Then transformed the van and crossed Canada!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to take great pictures, or at least feel good about them. I can also teach you the basics of filmmaking if you want to get into vlogging. Or, I can help you with sharing your stories and knowledge if ever you feel you're too shy about them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very crafty, so if you need any DIY help, I'm your surfer!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, United States, Zambia
