After living in Japan for nearly 4.5 years I have jumped back to my hometown in upstate New York fer a while, enjoying mother nature and father time, and planning more adventures!

I very, VERY nearly became an entomologist.

I love all kinds of weather.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived in a beautiful coastal town called Atsumi in Yamagata, Japan for 4 years. Though a very remote part of japan, I hosted quite a few travelers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I touched the sea for the first time in my life at age 21. It was amazing!

I've seen wild salmon migrating upriver to spawn in the fall. One of nature's awesome events.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach; I can teach some basic Thai, Swedish, and/or Shiatsu Massage, some japanese, some carpentry, some ceramics, a little about the life cycles of bees.
