ABOUT ME

I was born to learn so of course I like learning especially through traveling as you learn from people’s actual experiences. I’m drawn to difference – people who have from different cultural background, speak different language, think and act differently, those who carry different attitude and live in a country or place where everything looks different from my country.

I am a respectful person. I don’t judge people from the outside – appearance, ethic, educational background, social status, materials or professional achievement. I like the idea of treating people equally and respectfully. I dislike discrimination or racism among people.

I’m open-minded. I’m open to new ideas, knowledge and creativity. It’s always interesting to see how these things can simply change our world and bring good things to our lives. I approve of ones with different attitude and thoughts as long as they are sensible and realistic.

Adventurous is another word that refines me best. I discovered myself as a very adventurous people because I like dangerous sports and activities. I like challenges and the feeling of thrill is somehow addictive and enjoyable for me.

I am knowledgeable – I possess good knowledge about my own country (Thailand), History, travels, and my other interests.

Generally saying, I am a person who you can easily talk to and get along with. I’m easy-going, funny, and very friendly. I’m excellent at adaptation too and always have a smile on my face.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed couches in Europe back in the year 2010 and did my best to connect with people who I stayed with. It was such a great opportunity for me to represent my country to foreigners’ eyes.

While I was living in Bangkok from the year 2011-2013, I had showed many travelers who visited Bangkok as well as all my own friends from Denmark. I always enjoyed showing them the city, had an interesting conversation and introduced them to Thai local life as well as exotic things they had to experience in Bangkok.

And now I live in the Hague, one of the most lively city of the Netherlands. There are lots going on here esp. with plenty of music and cultural events so if you visit the place by any chance. Just send me a message. I would be more than happy to hang out with you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed couches in Eastern and Western Europe, and a bit in the U.K.

Most of my experience is positive. Because of CS I got a chance to become friends with many amazing people in many different countries who are incredibly nice and truly supportive with my adventures. I still feel so grateful for them all.

During my stay, of course, I had experienced fascinating local life, tried local food, discussed interesting subjects, exchange ideas and experiences with my hosts. I've learned and gained so much knowledge about Europe from them.

So, thank you like a million times to all for such a wonderful hospitality

兴趣

I have variety of interests but travels, writing, history and photography are my top favorites.

Writing – at the moment I’m putting my heart in doing a research on Scandinavian countries for my writing project. It’s expected to finish and be published in Thai language for Thai people to read. The aim of the book is to inspire young people to pursue their dreams and to educate those who share the same interest with me on Scandinavia and traveling in Europe.

Traveling – I’ve been traveling a lot to many different countries in Europe and a couple in Asia. I found traveling offers an excitement, knowledge, and the opportunity to see the world in wider perspective. It allows you to see the reality in all aspects not only the beautiful illusion promoted on a guidebook.

History – I always enjoy reading history. That’s why I like to visit historic places where the stories of the past are told. It’s very fascinating to see how the history reflects the present as well as has influence on people’s minds, behavior and ways of life.

Last, photography – I fell in love with pictures. Usually I take numerous of pictures while I’m traveling. The pictures best tell stories of where you’ve been to and there are still countless of amazing places in this world I have to visit and snap a shot.
Other than that, I like extreme sports, impressionism (a branch of art), folk culture, politics and volunteering.

- Trekked the peak of the mountain to elevation of 4,773 meters above sea level.
- Straddled A prime meridian at the royal observatory, Greenwich, London
- Watched a concert of my favorite band in LOndon.
- Saw the painting of the Mona Lisa by my favorite artist Leonardo Da Vinci in Louvre museum, Paris
- Traveled across Europe to 13 countries within a year.
- Visited the second world oldest amusement park Tivoli in Copenhagen.
- Received a reward in an essay competition from embassy of New Zealand.
- I was honored on the excellent academic performance in high school

I originally from Thailand, one of the most popular destination in the world, so for certain I can help you out with travel information or at least tell you want you like to know about my country. I have good knowledge plus with my personal experience, lived in the capital city, Bangkok for many years I know it very well. I have connection with a travel agent though so if you want some information for visiting my country, for sure I can help. If you like Thai language – you come to the right person. I have plenty of experience teaching Thai to foreigners. Anything you have doubt with our language, just let me know. Are you a fan of Thai food? I’m a good cook :)

Apart from that, if you are new to traveling across Europe on a budget and wondering how to do it, I’m always ready to help with advice. My experience is plenty!
