Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
travel, teach, write.
ABOUT ME
Me: incredibly energetic adjunct college instructor, graduate student and writer, aged punk-rocker, kundalini practitioner, so... introspective, at times, funny (love, love sarcasm), outgoing most of the times, love dancing, crazy parties, and of course I'm compelled to the quiet excitement of a book, chilling, or soaking up a natural setting. I'm deeply interested in people and learning as much about them as I can and it's easy for me to get along with most anyone, have meaningful conversation.
i love interesting conversations especially about art and artistic creation, spiritual growth, personal growth, psychology...
and interesting, self-aware, dynamic people.
And i love going out and having fun, dancing, late nights.
i don't seem to ever get bored, unless i'm not writing.
and i can cook, some.
i might be a professor, but i'm up for adventures.
PHILOSOPHY
Write. Grow. Teach.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It's been about a year since I've been on here, but I love this community and thought it's time to give back a little, now that I have my own space.
I surf and host, and I hope to add value to others, my communities, society at large, and find those who can do the same. I grow.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Portsmouth (NH, US). Hosted, been hosted, will host and will be hosted again. It's been great so far.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have been reading seriously since I was young, 15 or so, and I have studied literature for the last 9yrs so there are too many items to list.... but my focus is modernist to contemporary English, American and Russian poetry and prose, especially, poetry.
I can give you a lecture if you want, and if you can afford it... haha... in terms of time and money (or trade... actually, I've never thought of this before, but I could probably give a lecture in exchange for something...)
dubstep, elliott smith, jose gonzalez, tom waits, mirah, entertaining club music, peaches, jazz (especially piano), the knife, leonard cohen, the heartbreakers, old punk, gritty dirty raw rock, the stones, iggy and the stooges.
movies - works of art (dreyer's passion of joan, royal tenebaums, no country for old men, aronofsky, jarmusch, taste of cherry, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind (there are tons more, these just came to mind first)) and comedy.
