ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Ivy Lin. I come from Taiwan. There are six people in my family. I love them very much. I am friendly, responsible and active in my work. Although I started work after graduating from the junior high school and rented a suite of room for my living, I didn’t know what kind of job that I really like until I was a teacher. I have been a teacher for 3 years because I like children. I taught the different grade levels students whose ages were between 3 to 16 years old. I hope I can help my students anytime when they need a teacher to guide them.
Knowing English is very important as well as being interested in it a lot. The more I study English, the more I’m interested in it after I studied at College. I really want to make more progress in this area, so going aboard to train myself. New Zealand was the first place because I can get close to the nature, too. I like it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the beginning, I was curious to join it, and I was not familiar with it. I like to learn and share culture or life with people after experience of CS. Traveling by CS that’s good to know more locals and cultures. I enjoy it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had different thought after I stayed with some places by couchsurfing. I’m happy to stay with hosts by CS as I like to chat with them in English. English is international language. People are from different countries, but we can communicate each other as we know the same language which is English. And then, we can talk about our countries, our cultures and share some experience which we’ve known. I like learning and sharing from them.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I’m not really crazy to do special things. I just want to do what I want to do and what I want to see. Even it’s just normal thing as the first experience was the new challenge like I did Tongariro Crossing for 8.5 hours. >.@
