ABOUT ME

I am outgoing, adventurous, spontaneous, fun and love to laugh! I am living in a new country, in a random family's house, caring for their kids, in order to see the world in a bank account friendly way... Seemed like a good idea.

I love people, seeing new places, trying new things and taking pictures to document it all. I am actually just getting into photography. I like to run and am running the Paris half marathon in March 2010. I figure I aim to get the most out of life while I can. I am pretty open and like to share my life with others and learn from them too. I learn from the things I see and do, and teach from my own experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a gift and we need to appreciate it, everyday. I live in love and my friends and family know that I love and appreciate each one of them. Life is too short to be bitter, angry, upset or filled with grudges. Each day is new and fresh. Forgive people, learn from what happened, continue on and grow deeper through the mistakes that you all make. Embrace each day, each place, each person, each experience. Learn from them, grow from them, build into them and don't be afraid to change along the way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently an au pair, so I can't offer a couch. I could grab some food or a coffee in Geneva tho, hang out, show you around...

New people equal new friends. Shared experiences and exploring both local places and touristy things make awesome memories. Sounds like an amazing life!

I would love to host people one day when I am back in Canada too!

Interests

Photography, running, outdoors stuff (hiking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, camping... tho i don't get to do enough of it!), love board games, love baking and cooking and "tweaking" recipes to make them my own. Live music, in little pub or club, would be an awesome time in ANY city! Anything can be fun with good people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music! If someone looked through my ipod it basically looks like I fell over in a music store (in every isle), and had to take whatever I broke. I am a stereotypical girl and love chick flicks, the sappy romance ones and the goofy, corny, funny ones. I also love disney/pixar. I don't read much. Sometimes I think I should... maybe one day I will.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent May 2006 in Bolivia on a mission trip. It was so beautiful and amazing to get to see and experience part of South America. Now I am in Europe and get to see and experience many parts of this section of the world!
