ABOUT ME

Sorry for the long period of CS inactivity, I am now fully back on track, so please feel free to drop me a message!
I traveled solo in Asia and the Middle East in 2007-08 and am for now back in Brussels, which I simply adore. I work in the migration and anti-discrimination fields, at the European level, and for the rest, hang out an awful lot of time with my friends, can't say no to a good Belgian beer, love food, and a lot of other things but I am never really inspired when it comes to a personal description...

PHILOSOPHY

Smile. Smile. Smile and keep smiling. And dream.
For the rest, we live only once, so who cares? Lets dance, laugh, have fun, enjoy, so not to wake up in ten years time thinking that we'd missed on anything crucial...

Interests

Photography, traveling, reading, writing, meeting new people, discovering the world, green thinking and green living. I am particularly interested in collaborative consumption these days and taking action to stop massive stupid consumption by favouring human exchanges, carsharing, bartering, lending, trading, renting, gifting, and swapping, reducing waste, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mainly classics such as Zola, De Beauvoir, Desnos, Faulkner, Saramago, Tolstoï, Flaubert, Murakami, Rilke, Steinbeck, but this list is endless as I love reading. I can't live without a book in my bag, another one in my hand, and three more beside my bed. I also like graphic novels a lot (Spiegelman's Pulitzer prize winning Maus of course, Jiro Tanigushi, Guy Delisle, Mathieu, Bastien Vives, Larcenet, and so many more)
In terms of music, I submit my ears to (almost) everything, from classic opera to Indie pop/rock via some electro and French Nouvelle Scene music... New stuff I am now having on repeat mode on my Ipod: The Local Natives, These New puritans, The Arctic Monkeys, The XX, Vampire Weekend, Get Well Soon, Noa and the Whale, Tune Yards, Beirut.
