We're a German couple traveling Europe and the Americas for 9 months. We started in Portugal, Spain, France and Belgium in our self-built Camping Van before we flew to Mexico in early October and went on to Colombia, Ecuador and Peru afterwards! Paavo (32) is a civil engineer and Maike (28) is a high school teacher for English, history and social studies/politics.
We know each other from our shared passion: playing rugby. We also love to cook, swim and go hiking. We're really interested into the culture and the history of the countries we're visiting.

Our last stop will be the UNITED STATES 🇺🇸 and as many sites of it as possible! Therefore we’re looking into buying a Van/SUV to put a mattress and a camping stove inside and hit the road for 2 months straight. In order to make this happen, it would be amazing if you allowed us to stay with you for 2-4 nights max. so that we have time to buy a car and prepare it for the trip. (maybe (not necessarily) you could even help us with the buying/registration process?)

PS: we’re both vaccinated and got the booster shot as well.
