About Me

I'm a Spaniard living in Prague who has decided to start doing what I always wanted to do: travel "solo" and discover more about the cultures that I have around me. I'm an open person who is always in for meeting new people, enjoying some beer or coffee over a conversation, and sharing and learning from other people's life experiences! =)

As hobbies I can say that I enjoy practising sports such as climbing or swimming, wandering around my town and finding new places I didn't know, reading, and of course, the ocassional just-laying-down-on-the-couch-and-watching-some-movie (I think most people also love this last one, but since not so many of them share it, I decided to start doing so!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in Couchsurfing because I've decided to start traveling more, and doing it properly. And what do I consider as "proper travel"? Well, for me that means fully embracing and learning about the culture of the country/town that I'm visiting. I want to learn about the history of the place, about the local culture, I want to be told annecdotes about that weird statue that lies in that not-so-centric square, and most of all, I want to take back with me a memory that will warm me everytime I think about it, not some pictures that eventually I'll store in some hard drive and never see again!

And what better way to discover all those known-to-locals places and pieces of trivia than Couchsurfing? :D

To sum up, I'm here because I want not only to visit your town and learn about it, but learn from your culture and about you! =)

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't think I can narrow this down so much! I like a wide variety of music styles, depending on the mood of the moment. I can enjoy a calm night at home with some background jazz, as well as listening to some electronic music when I'm focused on some task at work. So I enjoy most of the styles you can think of =)

I also have a similar taste for movies, as I can enjoy different themes depending on the situation. However, if I would be forced to choose some style, I'd say that I enjoy most movies that have a dark hint and leave you thinking about them once you've finished them. Some examples of movies that I have recently (re-)watched that are like this include Donnie Darko and Nocturnal Animals .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm still waiting to happen for that amazing story that I will tell again and again, but hey, maybe in my next trip I will have the chance to make it! =)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not that good of a joke teller, but I love listening to them! I can offer good attention and conversation as I love to share stories and learn from different people. And as I will travel more and more I might remember some good joke that I can share with the next people I'll meet :D

Oh, also, I can cook quite a good Spanish Omelette, so that's something I can deffinitely offer! =)
