About Me

Hello! I'm Pablo. I come from Buenos Aires, Argentina, but I hope to be elsewhere as you read this because I love to travel :)
Currently I am travelling with my girlfriend, Maite. You can check her profile here: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/maite-blanes
We are a respectful and friendly couple with a great passion for travelling and meeting new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I feel (and I am quite sure I'm right!) that seeing new places and meeting people from all lands and cultures is what makes life worth living.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Steven Wilson/Porcupine Tree, early Genesis, Dream Theater, Swans, (the) Melvins, Motorpsycho, Leprous, Cult of Luna, iamthemorning, Carpenter Brut, Divididos, Slint... So many different things!
Movies: Pulp Fiction, LOTR trilogy... nothing very special, to be honest. I would love to get recommendations out of the usual stuff, and maybe even watch some movies with hosts and other surfers :)
Books: Watership Down. Might look like a children's book, but it's amazingly well-written and deep in meaning, at least for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've ever seen were the Austrian Alps. I just really love mountains. Apart from that, I think spending some time studying in France and quitting my job in order to travel the world are the greatest things I've done so far!

Teach, Learn, Share

I will gladly help anyone learning the Spanish language or needing help with computer programming. I would love to learn some regional food recipes from the places I visit, and to play a musical instrument.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Tales about my experiences in Argentina and a few other places, music I like, attempts at making some great empanadas (at your own risk, I'm no chef!)... Also nerdy talks about computers while walking around in the nature, why not?

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, France, Norway
