Overview
About Me
I am a Belgian engineer student currently living in Brazil, I am doing a double degree program in São Paulo. Since I arrived alone in this foreign country, I have discovered that I am really passionate about traveling. I tried to backpack whenever I can ever since. I am a really easy going person, polite, respectful and warm. I really love meeting people from all around the world, to exchange experiences and to travel through them and their stories. But I am also a very independent person so I wont be a burden for my host and I can be very respectful about your privacy.
Currently solo travelling around South America. I am traveling with inflatable mattress and a hammock so I am very low maintenance (I am happy with a piece of garden or any covered place!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first goal would be to have a different type of travel, a more authentic one meeting local people and really immerse me in the life of the local and talking with him. For me the best part of my travels, and what will stay in my memories, it's mainly the people. It is also convenient for a student like me to be able to travel at a fewer cost aha

Teach, Learn, Share
The way I use Couchsurfing is not as a free Airbnb. If I am just passing by a city and don't have time to spend with my host at all then I will take an ho(s)tel room.
I always try to see what I can bring to the host, what would actually make their life easier.
I am curious and open-minded, everything you are passionate about will be interesting to me. I speak fluently 4 languages and I love to practice so I can be your language buddy. I am an electrical engineer (I could fix your damaged electronic devices you have at home;) I know the real recipe of Belgian fries!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Help for anything, language exchange, help for cooking, take care of pets or children, teach maths or physics, learn how to repair electric devices, ....
