Always happy when meeting new people, especially when travelling. My parents are originally from Chile, so I was quite lucky to lear Spanish from an early age. Looking forward to getting out of comfort zone though and going to places where I can't always get by with English or Spanish.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy the idea behind CS and its philosophy. A great way to connect with good, interesting people from all over the world. Right now I am in a position where I am unable to host, but I'll certainly look forward to opening my home and repaying the favour in the not too distant future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to couchsurfing so haven't had any experience as yet but hoping to become part of the CS community this year and next in both Europe and Southeast Asia!

Recently read some short stories by Julio Cortázar, feel like I've been missing out all this time, maybe you have too!? Love to read, usually find the time on the train to and from work."To buy books would be a good thing if we also could buy the time to read them." That's my quote, I made it up, if google disagrees, google is a liar.

Music: Alt j, Mogwai, Pixies, Jimmi Hendrix, Lowkey, Patrick Watson, Sigur Ros, Beatles..Open to suggestions.

Films: Amores Perros, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Bicycle thieves, 400 blows, Machuca, Bottle Rocket, Old boy, The squid and whale.

TV shows: big fan of Curb your enthusiasm, Peep show and The Wire.
