PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I keep my karma levels steady by balancing out hosting and surfing. In KiSwahili, East Africa's lingua franca, there's a word 'Mgeni', meaning both 'stranger' and 'guest' at the same time. This linguistically embedded idea can be truly felt in the region. I try to act in the same way.
