About Me

Hello mates!

I'm Pablo from Uruguay, South America. Currently around Europe, after having lived almost a year in Dresden. Professional bus driver, tour guide, high school history teacher and amateur luthier. I really enjoy traveling and meeting new people every day.
I am currently travelling with my deustchlandticket during my last weeks in Germany.
I am passionate about History and Gastronomy. Low budget traveler, hitchhiker, cyclist and amateur hiker. Looking for a quixotic adventure and a story to tell.

Music, Movies, and Books

I aprecciate all music. Depends allways on my mood, but I usually listen a lot of folk south american music or new songs that I learn from every place that I visit.

Scorcese gangsters movies. My favorite series are Boardwalk Empire and The Sopranos
Thrillers: Better Call Saul, Sons of Anarchy, Dr. House.
Also sitcom's: Seinfeld, Friends, Community and The Office.

Im an passionate reader, always reading all that i can get. About travel writers, I did read a lot from Paul Theroux, Juan Pablo Villarino and Eduardo Redjuch de la Mancha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't really think I've done or seen anything incredible, but I will mention my solo travels, something I hardly would have believed I would be able to do a few years before:

During 2022 I did travel hitchhiking from Portugal to Türkey, meeting amaizing people and participating in different voluntering jobs.

In 2023 I've travel on my bicycle from Saxony in Germany to Oslo, visiting big part of Sweden and Denmark in about two months. Long rides under the rain and camping everynight in the forests.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am passionate about history, musical instruments, geography and cycling. We can discuss at length about these subjects, as well as exchange opinions about books and travel experiences. I love to think and rethink about my luggage and travel strategies, and learn from other travelers.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a fast learner and would like to help as much as possible. Cleaning, cooking, basic maintenance, instrument maintenance, etc.
