About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy my life in my home country: awesome ARGENTINA!!
To get my Italian citizenship so I can go live in Europe.

ABOUT ME

I´m a 42-year-old guy, born in Buenos Aires. I lived pretty much my whole life in my hometown San Isidro, just in different houses. I now live in Tigre. I also lived 1 year in Dubai, 2 years in downtown Buenos Aires and some months in Canada, Australia and Ushuaia. So yeah, I´ve spent around 38 years here :)

I just changed jobs, I now work as a back office admin in a telecommunications company. The office is in Del Viso (Pilar) so I have a good 30-minute drive up there.

I like languages a lot! I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, some French and a little Italian and Norwegian (I'm really excited about this Nordic language, I'm learning it on Duolingo and I just can't wait to get better and better). I´m also a Spanish/Portuguese/English interpreter.
I do yoga, I play the drums a bit, some piano, I love musicals, I was part of 2 musicals in 2018 and I acted in yet another one in 2022.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess the most amazing thing I´ve done is having had the luck to visit 50 countries and all 24 provinces in Argentina.

These are some memorable times:

- I once got snow while being at the southernmost tip of my country during summer... you´ve read well, SUMMER. That´s what Ushuaia can be like during the summer!!

- I rode round one of Thailand´s islands on a motorcycle. The views from up there are indescribable in words. It´s just paradise.

- Not being able to cross an Avenue in Egypt, hahahahah!!! No traffic-lights, nobody ever stops, EVER! And I´m a super brave fellow, it´s just that sometimes it´s really impossible to cross without getting seriously hit by cars :)

- I was invited to an Indian wedding in northern India, close to the Chinese border. An amazing experience I´ll never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach stuff about languages, I really like doing so. It´d also be great to learn some words from foreign languages, a yet-to-be-discovered-language for me!
I´d be happy to learn some new yoga postures.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My apartment is in Tigre, located about 20 km (around 12 miles) north of downtown Buenos Aires, it´s about 30 minutes by car and about 1 hour by bus and/or train. There´s a bus stop about 100 meters (here in Argentina we´ll say "1 block" in stead of 100 meters) from my apartment which makes it super easy to commute downtown. The train station is about 12 blocks away (1200 meters).

I live in a one-bedroom apartment with a living room. I have no pets, just a few friendly plants! :)
There´s a small gym and a nice swimming pool in the building, so if you come during hot weather you can totally use it.
It´d be nice to share some meals at home, like dinner and breakfast. At lunch time I´m always away at work.
