We are A COUPLE OF NATURE AND TRAVEL LOVERS. We enjoy hiking in Natural Parks, do camping, taking baths in rivers, snorkeling in the sea and any activity that keep us in contact with nature. Thus, in August 2015 WE DECIDED TO LIVE OUR DREAMS AND TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD visiting natural places. We left our "normal" lives behind and made a project "Verde por dentro" (www.verdepordentro.com) where WE VISIT NATURAL PLACES AT THE SAME TIME THAT WE VOLUNTEER THERE. Taking care of animal, growing vegetables in an organic farm, or banding birds for their study, are some of the things we have done last months. We have been traveling around Europe and Morocco for some months, living in our small van. In June 2016 we went to Mexico just with our backpacks to TRAVEL AROUND THE AMERICAN CONTINENT WITH JUST ONE WAY TICKETS. We want to show the people that traveling is not necessarily expensive if you are open minded, thus our budget is small but we are open to new ideas to keep traveling as long as we can.

Somos una pareja de amantes de la naturaleza y los viajes. Nos encanta hacer senderismo en parques naturales, acampar, bañarnos en ríos, bucear en el mar y cualquier actividad que nos mantenga en contacto con la naturaleza. Por eso, en agosto 2015 decidimos cumplir nuestros sueños y viajar alrededor del mundo visitando lugares naturales. Dejamos atrás nuestras vidas "normales" y creamos el proyecto "Verde por dentro" (www.verdepordentro.com), donde visitamos lugares naturales al mismo tiempo que hacemos voluntariados en estos. Cuidar animales, cultivar un huerto ecológico o anillar aves para su estudio han sido algunas de las cosas que hemos hecho los últimos meses. Hemos estado viajando por Europa y Marruecos viviendo en nuestra mini-furgoneta. Desde Junio 2016 estamos en México sólo con nuestras mochilas, con ganas de viajar por todo el continente americano sin fecha de vuelta. Queremos demostrarle a la gente que viajar no es necesariamente caro si mantienes abierta la mente. Nuestro presupuesto es muy bajo pero estamos abiertos a cualquier idea que nos permita viajar todo el tiempo posible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are totally convinced that a collaborative way of living is the most efficient way and everybody win, as not only material things are involved. We always try to keep ourselves out from the touristic activities and places as they are cold and expensive. We prefer talking to local people and learn about them and their lives.

Estamos totalmente convencidos de que vivir de manera colaborativa es la forma más eficiente y donde todo mundo gana, ya que no sólo es lo material lo que está en juego. Siempre tratamos de salirnos de los lugares y típicas actividades turísticas, ya que son frías y caras, por eso preferimos hablar con la gente local y aprender sobre ellos y sus vidas.

Interests

We love doing ANYTHING RELATED TO NATURE, animals, birds, ecology, plants... such as hiking, taking pictures, snorkeling, and also working to protect them.

Pablo is a CARTOONIST and he loves making drawings for people, actually we have a "Comic section" in our website about our adventures. Bea is VEGETARIAN and she likes practicing YOGA. We both love tasting handmade beers and also mexican food.

Nos encanta todo lo relacionado con la naturaleza, animales, aves, ecología, plantas... como el senderismo, la fotografía a la naturaleza, bucear y hasta trabajar para la protección y conservación de ecosistemas.

Pablo es dibujante de monigotes y le gusta hacer caricaturas de la gente. De hecho tenemos una sección cómic en nuestra web con nuestros personajes sobre nuestras aventuras. Bea es vegetariana y le gusta hacer yoga. A Ambos nos encanta probar cervezas artesanas allá donde vamos y la comida mexicana.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love many kinds of music, but Pablo has been a big fan of Jarabe de Palo since he was very young. Bea likes jazz, swing and indie music.
Our favourites movies are: The Goonies, Indiana Jones and The Labyrinth (for Pablo) and La vita e bella and Amelie (for Bea).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bea: Sleeping at the foot of a glacier looking at that really old ice wall in front of us.

Bea: dormir a los pies de un glaciar y tener esa pared inmensa de hielo formado hace millones de años delante de nosotros.

Teach, Learn, Share

We like to share our passion for nature, teaching about birds (Pablo's expertise) and a sustainable way of living. We also like sharing yoga sessions and of course food! We want to learn about everything related to local life, history of the town, endemic species and delicious recipes.

At this moment we don't have a house, we are travelling for a long term. But we can share meals wherever we go.
