ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Pablo I'm Spanish but I live seen 2014 in Basel Switzerland. I do really love this Ciity and all the activities that offers its surrrounding area, Alps on the south, many lakes and forest for hicking, visit Alsace villages in France and the south of Germany. And Basel it self of course. Best in summer with the amazing Rhein bath with the Fish Bag, a must to do when visiting Basel and Switzerland. I've spend my last 3 years in France in Toulouse a city I really loved. I'm 30 and I really love to travel and to met people from different countries. That's how we can become openminded.
For me everything began with an Erasmus grant, I get astonish of how cool is to met people from everywhere around the world. I also appreciated still more the cities I was living when I showed them to visitors, sometimes we don't value the great things we have around us, I really love to have visits :). And what concerns to my travels, If I've learnt something after coming all along Europe it's that you only find the best places when you come with a Local. That's how I first heard about couchsurfing.

I'm quite hyperactive, I really love to enjoy even the last minute and I use to go out even on workdays because what's better for been relaxed than have a social life after work. Besides,It's difficult to find the time to make travels when you're working so no time to be lazy, tired or not motivated.

For languages I speak currently French, English and Obviously Spanish. But I also understand Italian and Portuguese. And I hope one day I will learnt German. But hey! Practising is the best way to learnt and couchsurfing give us this great opportunity!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

From some people I met during my trips. After visiting a city alone as a tourist and coming back to the same one with a local, I became aware of how important is to meet people to make you experience what the reality of place is. So after that I start to use couchsurfing, at the begining to met people of the places I visited, after hosting peoplo and finally becomig a guest, and asisting the events so enjoying full CS experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well,I'm quite lucky, I have many friends in many countries. So the reason why I joined couchsurf so late is because I always find somewhere to stay at a friend´s or friend's pals home.

Interests

The first of all, enjoy my time with friends. Even on weekdays.

Sports: There's no day I'm not practising some kind of sports. Footbal, Squash, Padel, running, cycling...And when time arrives, the best "season sport": snowboarding, surfing, scubadiving, hiking...
Dance: I really love rock and salsa and the good ambience you can find in latino pubs.
Languages: I think is mandatory to know more than 2 languages The world is huge and we must make our best to be in touch with everybody.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm have grown up in a family of readers so no way I changed the tradition. You can always find some book inside my travelling bag. I also likes to variate between different kind of books and languages.

Music,I'm passionated about live music. Always looking for a good pub with an acoustic solo or festivals close to where I'm staying. My preferences evrething from from claasical, passing by folk and Rock, until heavy and electronical.
